A new Journey awaits!

Well all, I'm being deployed. Yep, just when I thought I was nice and safe and tucked into my job as a teacher and part time in the air force, I get deployed! Not for too long though, but long enough, about 35-40 days. I'll be off to the far reaches of Asia in a country called Kyrgyzstan. Yep, a country I can hardly even spell let alone sound out! I'll be assisting in missions in the area and my job will be fixing the electrical and environmental parts of the KC-135 aircraft. I'm officially supposed to report to Topeka on Dec. 8th and depart for Kyrgyzstan on Dec. 11th. Lots of in-processing needs to occur I guess! That leaves me little time to take care of things here, but so far I've started to align most of my "ducks"! :) Well, that's about it for now, I hope the thanksgiving day treated you all well and no one got sick! Hate for that to happen on a long break for most of us! I will keep you all updated as I find out more! Take care!
